User need
User research
In order to clearly understand and define the problem, the objectives and constraints as well as the user needs, we have conducted an extensive research.
Architecture
Mapping the whole application and how screens work together helps me understand the overall organisation and articulation of YANA.
Wireframes
This project came to my mind a few years ago, while I was working on a project on how to deal with loneliness for the elderly. This subject is now an evidence to me, due to our current situation. Our project's goal is to contribute to a significant change in the daily lives of Europeans. We want to make Europeans aware of the importance of living together to overcome global crises such as the one we are experiencing today.
Final designs
I was tasked and gladly took responsibility with building our application in such a way that the visuals emphasised and highlighted the experience we were offering our users.
It seems to me that UX and UI go hand in hand, and so it's important to me that the design of an interface should reflect the user experience built around the user and their needs.
Prototype
I took responsibility to build a prototype of our application to allow everyone to test the main features of YANA. Despite the small size of our team, we were determined to present a project that was as successful as possible.
Outcome
It has been quite an experience for everyone of us, working together from all around the world, on a common goal and a shared value, without knowing each other; but I can say on behalf of the three of us, that we are very proud to have succeeded in bringing our ideas to fruition in a short period of time in response to a current and important issue. We have formed a very good team based on mutual help and trust, and we have been able to move forward in a very positive way. We are proud of ourselves, of the work we have done, and of the subject we have pursued.
What we learned
We learned to work together despite the distance and to divide up the work very efficiently.
